Accounts & Pricing
Pricing is available to approved business accounts only. Our products are built for food manufacturers and processors, so we verify every account before opening up pricing and ordering.
You can still browse everything without logging in. Specs, materials, dimensions and case quantities are public on every product page. When you're ready to order, create an account and you'll see pricing as soon as you're approved.
- Click Create an Account and complete the business application.
- Your regional sales manager reviews the application.
- Once you're approved, you'll get an email and can log in, see pricing and place orders right away.
Most applications are reviewed within 1 to 2 business days. If you haven't heard from us by then, contact us and we'll check on it.
Yes. Online accounts are new, even if you've ordered from us for years. Apply once using your company's main business address and note that you're an existing customer. Your sales manager will connect the account to your existing relationship.
Please submit one application per company. If you have more than one facility, we'll add each as a shipping location under the same account.
Yes. One company account can have multiple users and multiple shipping locations. The primary contact can add and remove team members, so purchasing, receiving and accounts payable can each have their own login. Everyone on the account sees the same company pricing and order history.
Ordering & Payment
- Log in to your approved account.
- Find your product, choose a color and select your quantity in cases.
- Add to cart and check out.
- You'll get an order confirmation email, then tracking once your order ships.
Need something you don't see in the catalog? Submit a custom product request and your sales manager will follow up.
Consumables are sold by the case, so your minimum is one case, and quantities go up in full cases. Each product page shows the units per case and cases per pallet.
When you order a full pallet of an item, pallet pricing applies automatically in your cart. If you buy at truckload volumes or on a regular schedule, talk with your sales manager about pricing for your program.
We accept major credit cards and PayPal at checkout. Established customers can pay by ACH through invoicing. Ask your sales manager to set it up.
Food-contact packaging can't be resold once it has been opened, so online orders are final sale. You'll be asked to acknowledge this at checkout.
We stand behind every shipment. If your order arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
Not sure a tray or film is right for your product? Request samples before you order. To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have already shipped can't be canceled.
Shipping & Delivery
All online orders ship from our warehouse in Bensenville, Illinois, to business and residential addresses across the contiguous United States.
Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US territories and military addresses can be placed online. We'll review the order and confirm the shipping cost before it ships.
Ordering from Canada or outside the US? Online ordering isn't available there yet, but we serve customers across North America. Contact us and your regional sales manager will help.
It depends on the order size:
- Parcel orders: UPS and USPS rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
- Freight orders: Orders of 10 cases or more ship LTL freight. You won't be charged shipping at checkout. Your sales manager will quote the freight and confirm it with you before your order ships.
In-stock orders placed by 1pm Central on a business day ship within 2 business days. Orders placed after 1pm or on weekends ship the next business day. You'll get a tracking email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Some products have longer lead times. Check the product page or ask your sales manager.
LTL deliveries require a signature. Before you sign:
- Count the pallets and cases against the delivery receipt.
- Check for crushed, torn or wet packaging. If you see damage, open it and inspect the product.
- Write any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing, for example "2 cases crushed." Signing for a clean delivery makes damage claims much harder to resolve.
- Take photos and contact us within 48 hours.
Delivering to a residential address or a location without a loading dock? Let us know when you order so we can arrange liftgate service.
Consumables
Yes, and we recommend it. The best way to know a tray or film will work is to run it on your line with your product.
Fill out the sample request form. No account needed. Tell us what you package, which products you're interested in and your expected volume. Your regional sales manager will follow up and send samples.
How do I choose the right tray and film?
Start with three questions:
- How will your product be stored and heated? Frozen, refrigerated, conventional oven or microwave decides the tray material.
- What shelf life do you need? That decides the sealing method (seal only, modified atmosphere (MAP) or vacuum skin) and the film barrier.
- What are you sealing on? The lidding film has to match both the tray material and your sealer.
Trays and films only perform when they're matched as a system. Use the product filters to narrow your options, or talk to your sales manager. We've seen hundreds of applications and can help you avoid an expensive mismatch.
- CPET: Built for heat. Dual ovenable, so it goes from freezer to conventional oven or microwave. The standard for ready meals.
- PP (polypropylene): Microwave safe and handles hot fill well. Not for conventional ovens.
- PET / APET: Clear and rigid, made for cold and room-temperature foods like produce, deli and salads. Not for heating.
- Aluminum: Excellent heat transfer in conventional ovens. Not for microwaves.
- ThermoFibre and paper: Fiber-based options for brands reducing plastic.
Yes. If our catalog doesn't have what you need, submit a custom product request with the size, material, color and volume you're looking for. Your sales manager will work through the specs and pricing with you.
Machines
No. Every packaging line is different, so machines are sold through our team, not the cart. Each machine page has full specs and videos. Click Request Information and the right person will follow up to talk through your product, output and floor space before quoting.
Point Five is the exclusive North American dealer and master distributor for Italian Pack.
It comes down to five things:
- Output: How many packs per minute you need now, and in two to three years.
- Formats: How many tray sizes you run, and how often you change over.
- Sealing method: Seal only, MAP or vacuum skin. Tray sealers can be configured for all three if specified when ordering. Switching later requires reconfiguration by a technician.
- Automation: Semi-automatic for flexibility, or fully automatic for inline production.
- Space and utilities: Footprint, power and compressed air.
Not sure where you fall? Request Information on any machine page and we'll help you size it.
Yes. Every machine page has videos of it running. You can also see our machines in person at trade shows including Pack Expo East, Seafood Expo North America, Expo West, IDDBA and Pack Expo International.
Yes. Our technicians set up and commission your machine and train your operators and maintenance staff, in English or Spanish. Your facility needs power and compressed air in place to spec before installation. We'll send the requirements with your quote.
Both.
- Buying: Browse our used machine listings. Each one has been evaluated by our team and includes photos, specs and condition notes. Click Request Information on any listing.
- Selling: Submit your machine's make, model, serial number, year, condition and photos through our used machine form. We'll evaluate it and follow up.
